Good for quick branding

Got 20% off signing up; the Invoices were easy to customize, but the Brand Kit subscription is a bit pricey.

Mostly happy with my Brand Identity Package!

Anyone else keep coming back to Looka? I've used them a few times now for different projects, mostly for the AI Logo Maker, and they're pretty consistent. This last time I grabbed a Brand Identity Package and it's mostly great – the social media assets are perfect for my Instagram. My only small gripe is their promo code system can be a little clunky to find sometimes.

My new favorite logo tool!

Oh my goodness, Looka is fantastic! I was so worried about getting a logo for my new online shop, but this site made it an absolute breeze. The AI just *gets* what you're trying to do. I got so many cool designs and picking just one was the hardest part, they were all so good. I ended up getting the Premium package and the files were perfect, ready to go for everything. I'm definitely coming back for more if I start another project, and I've already told my friend about it!

Easy logo setup

Needed a quick logo for my side gig and tried Looka. It was super easy. Just put in some keywords and it popped out a bunch of ideas. Picked one, made a few small changes, and bought the Basic package. Got the files right away, no fuss. It was exactly what I needed without spending a ton of time or money.

Good value, minor snag

I used Looka to design a logo for my small business. The AI generator gave me some solid options, and the customization tools were pretty robust for the price point. I ended up with a logo I'm quite satisfied with, and downloading the files was quick after purchase. The Brand Kit subscription offers a lot of useful templates, which is a definite plus for consistency. My only minor issue was when I tried to re-edit a specific element a week later; the interface was a bit less intuitive for post-purchase modifications than for initial design. It took a little digging to find the right controls again. Still, for the cost and what you get, it's a very competitive option.

Logo creation and Brand Kit

I used Looka to create a logo and then purchased the Brand Kit subscription. The AI Logo Maker was incredibly intuitive; it asked me a few questions about my business and style preferences, and within minutes, it generated dozens of relevant options. I spent about an hour tweaking colors and fonts, which was surprisingly easy with their editing tools. Once I settled on a design, I bought the Brand Kit. Delivery was instant for the digital files, which included various vector formats (SVG, EPS, PDF) and transparent PNGs, which is exactly what I needed for print and web. I also downloaded the business card designs and social media templates, which saved me a lot of time. I had a quick question about font pairings for my specific brand guidelines, so I used their online chat support. The representative was helpful and pointed me to a section I had overlooked. Overall, a very streamlined process for getting professional branding assets. I was happy with the quality and ease of use.

Has anyone used both Looka and Canva for logos? Wondering which one is better if I just need a simple, clean logo and maybe some social media templates.

J Josh Osei 2 months ago
Looka is definitely more focused on just the logo and brand identity stuff. Canva is good for general design but Looka's AI is better for logo generation specifically, imo. You can get templates from both though.

If it's just the logo, Looka. If you're doing a bunch of other design work and already use Canva, maybe stick with that? But Looka gives you all the proper files for a logo.

Does Looka ever have sales? Or like a first-time user discount? Trying to keep costs down for my startup.

F Faith 2 months ago
For sure! I signed up for their email list and got a 20% off code for my first logo package. They also usually have Black Friday/Cyber Monday stuff.

They almost always have some kind of deal for new users, sometimes it pops up when you're about to checkout. Just one code per order though, fyi.

So, how does the Brand Kit subscription work? Can I cancel anytime or am I locked into a year or something?

R Ryan Walsh 1 month ago
I think it's a monthly thing, but you usually get a discount if you pay annually. You can cancel, just check their terms but it's pretty straightforward.

Yeah, you can cancel. I had it for a few months to get all my stuff set up and then downgraded. It gives you access to a lot of marketing materials which is handy.

Can I edit my logo after I buy it? Or if I want a small change, do I have to pay all over again?

B Ben 1 month ago
If you get the premium package or the brand kit, you can go back and make small tweaks to colors or fonts. If you want a whole new design concept, then yeah, that's a new purchase.

Not for free if you just bought the basic, afaik. But with the higher tiers, you get some editing capabilities in their editor after purchase. It's not like full design software but good for minor changes.

Hey guys, thinking about using Looka for my new biz logo. Is it legit for professional stuff, like will it look cheesy or can I actually get something decent enough to trademark later?

A Anna 2 months ago
Yeah, I used it for my small online shop last year. The logos are pretty good, not like super custom agency level but definitely professional enough for most small businesses. Plus, you get the vector files so you can use them anywhere.

T Troy Osei 1 month ago
I think they say you own the copyright and can trademark it, but you should probably double check with a lawyer if that's a big concern. The designs themselves are solid, not cheesy at all if you play around with the options.
